Once you transmit your Form 2290 to the IRS, you can check on the status of your return using the dashboard of your ExpressTruckTax account. Also, after the IRS accepts your return, we will notify you and send you a copy of your stamped Schedule 1 by email.
You can also download as many copies of your stamped Schedule 1 as you want from the ExpressTruckTax dashboard.
Our optional text and fax alert feature can notify you when the IRS accepts your return. We can also send a copy of your stamped Schedule 1 to your carrier.
2.What is a text alert?
The text alert feature will send you a notification once the IRS accepts your Form 2290. Your stamped Schedule 1 will be ready as soon as you receive the text, and you will still receive a copy of your stamped Schedule 1 through email.
3.What is a fax alert?
If you enable the fax alert feature, ExpressTruckTax will fax a copy of your stamped Schedule 1 to the number you provide once the IRS accepts your return.
You can also have a hard copy of your stamped Schedule 1 mailed to your address.
4.What is carrier notification?
The carrier notification feature is used to send a copy of your stamped Schedule 1 directly to your carrier once the IRS accepts your Form 2290. ExpressTruckTax has partnered up with many carriers, so all you have to do is select your carrier from the drop-down list after clicking “Add Carrier Details,” and we’ll send a copy of your Schedule 1 to your carrier for free.
