Single Vehicle Filing
Form 2290 is an annual tax return filed for vehicles with a taxable gross weight of 55,000 pounds that are operated on the public highways. Form 2290 is used to calculate and pay the Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT). Filing your Form 2290 with ExpressTruckTax makes your filing much simpler and calculates your HVUT accurately.
1.Who can file for a single vehicle?
In ExpressTruckTax, single vehicle filers can file their Form 2290 return by clicking on the “e-File for 1 truck” under “Start New Return.” You can file for only one vehicle if you choose this option. It can be either one suspended vehicle or one taxable vehicle.
If you need to report a credit vehicle, you have to choose “e-file for multiple vehicles” as you cannot add credit vehicles in a single-vehicle filing.
